What time does the event start?
Registration will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the formal program starting at 6:00 p.m. Due to heavy traffic into Lahaina, it is highly recommended that you plan for 1-1/2 to 2 hours of travel time. Free bus transportation to and from Hale Makua Kahului to the event is available. Call 871.9271 to reserve your seat.
What are my parking options for the event?
You can self park or valet at the Sheraton. We will be validating parking tickets in the silent auction tent. The self parking lot is located on the left as you pull into the Sheraton driveway and is a shorter walk to the Ocean Lawn than the main lobby.
Can I request my seating arrangement?
We cannot accommodate seating requests. The only
"guaranteed" seating is sponsors and those who purchase a table of ten.
If you want to guarantee being seated with friends, please consider
either of these two options.
Do I need to bring a printed ticket to the event?
No. Register for the event by contacting HMHS' Special Events & Grants Coordinator and we will have your name and table assignment at registration.
Is the cost of my ticket tax deductible?
Hale Makua Health Services is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and $85 of each ticket's total purchase price of $150 is eligible for a tax deduction. Please consult your tax professional if you have additional questions on this issue.
How will the silent auction be conducted?
We are excited to use mobile bidding at the 2017 Kokua for Kupuna, which allows you to use your mobile device to browse items and place bids. Register your credit card in advance for expedited checkout. See our "How Online Bidding Works" tab or click here.
